With over 30 years in corporate real estate and extensive experience in funds management, Grant has vast knowledge in acquisitions, development, funds management, capital raising, leasing and disposals. Grant’s previous positions include Investment Director at Poly Global and Grocon. He was responsible for establishing Watpac Property Developments in NSW, and the growth of a wholesale syndication business which focused on commercial and industrial developments on Australia’s eastern seaboard.
Chris Howard
Director & Partner
With over a decade in corporate real estate Chris brings his vast knowledge of Australia’s property market to his role as Director. With experience in feasibility modelling, due diligence investigations, planning and design management, he also brings knowledge in DAs and project delivery. Previous roles include Senior Investment Manager at Poly Global and Grocon. He also established Poly Global’s London office, as Head of Investment and Asset Management. He also spent some time at Waverley Council gaining valuable experience in planning controls & policies and DA procedures.
Steven Beinart
AltX Co-Founder and Co-CEO
Steven is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of AltX. With a background in 1st mortgage lending dating back to 2012, he has overseen the underwriting of more than $1.1billion of loans. As well as his extensive experience in the Australian mortgage industry, Steven has over 20 years’ international senior management and Board experience in the Facility Services, Healthcare and Personal Care industries. Steven is also a co-founder of the Ecowize Group, a specialist outsourced services Group which today operates in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and in South Africa (5,500 employees globally). Steven has a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Law).
Nick Raphaely
AltX Co-Founder and Co-CEO
Nick is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of AltX. He has a background in 1st mortgage lending dating back to 2012, and has overseen the underwriting of over $1.1billion of loans. Prior to this, Nick’s background was in investment banking at Merrill Lynch International (London, Sydney and Melbourne) and in funds management. Nick has an MA (Law) from Cambridge University (UK) and a Bachelor of Business Science Degree (1st Class Honours with Distinction in Economics) from the University of Cape Town (South Africa).
Sean Katz
AltX Co-Founder and Chairman
Sean is Non-Executive Chairman of AltX and is a Credit and Investment Committee Member. Sean is the co-founder of Peregrine Group which is a listed company on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (South Africa) and is actively involved in global capital markets. Sean is an original investor in SA Home Loans, which was South Africa’s first non-bank mortgage provider, providing origination and securitisation of mortgage obligations.
Sean is a Chartered Accountant and currently runs an investment management group focused on global private equity, property and equity investing.
